Sea & The Dunes
I am Dutch and live my hole life in the Netherlands and growing up bij the sea and in the dune reservation by my grandpa.
Dunes are little hills with sand and grass and by the sea. In north Holland and South Holland you have the dunes who live togheter with the sea, the whole coast line is with the sea and dunes togheter more then 1000 years, they protecting us and give us a lot of fish and potato's because we have dune potato's it calls: Duinaardappelen/ piepers in Dutch language. The old ways how they did in the past growing the potato's in the dune reservations is not gone, it stil exist and i am glad it is not gone.
The Heath
If you driving to the east side of the Netherlands then you can see the forest and the heather fields and there is no sea but you can find rovers and lakes with a lot of trees and heather fields and we have a rich history of our past we almost forget but you can find it on diffrent kind of places like house, villages and botes but also the mills are part of our own indigenous life we had and the traditional clothes we wear.
Dolmens
1000 years before Christ we had a indigenous way of life and that is the way with this dolmen in diffrent rock formations we forget almost the old ways of this time but remembering in museums and almost you can find a lof of things in the archeological musea abouth or indigenous past, we come from the dolmen builder people who are our ancestors 1000 years before christ and the funnel beaker people and the name comes from the things they made in funnel form like beakers where they drinking things out of it.
This time calls primeval time.

And now you think where do i talking abouth but this are diffrent types of Dutch traditional fishing boats we use in the past in Netherlands because they say: 'Netherlands water land' but it is true the most important things we had is living from water and fish what comes out of the ocean, lakes and rivers we have like eel, i love the most fish they smoke it in the eelsmokehouse and you can find them everywhere like the city of Volendam that is the city of eelsmoking and diffrent other villages who are the villages of the fisshingpeople are have them.
